It’s not about getting it perfect, it’s about getting out there and trying in the first place. I get that fear of failure is something that keeps many of us from trying new things – like launching a podcast. But I’m here to tell you to embrace it! No matter how long I’ve been doing this, I fail all. the. time. Case in point: I interviewed Cilia Kanellopoulos at CoWomen’s “Celebrating Kickass (Wo)men” event last year and it was a big failure. It was a great convo, but the audio was completely unusable for the Leading Rebels podcast. So that’s what I’m talking about in this episode!
Tune in for my top tips on live recordings (plus real audio from my failed attempt!) But hey, it was a huge learning, and Cilia and I re-recorded and even better convo (which you can catch at www.leadingrebels.com/38), so it’s not really a “failure” in my book! And that’s the point: nothing really is a failure if it teaches you something new.
