Want to start your own podcast? Way to go rebel! I’m sure you’re brimming full of awesome ideas about the kickass episodes you’ll be recording. I know I was when I got the idea to start the Leading Rebels podcast! One thing I wasn’t so excited about: Having to figure out all the technical logistics of actually getting my podcast live.
Cue Blubrry! I did some intense research in the beginning about who would be the best podcast host for me. (A host is the place you actually upload your audio files and then just tell iTunes, Google, Spotify, and co. once that that’s the place to pull your episodes from.) I settled on Blubrry, and almost three years later, I continue to be as happy as I was on that first day to have chosen them!
Why? Because setup is not just simple and fast, if you’re a WordPress gal like me, they have an awesome integration that means you never have to leave your website. Simply produce your podcast, write your blog post to go along with it, hit publish, and tada – your latest episode is live everywhere! Don’t have a WordPress website? No worries! Blubrry actually will also give you your own podcast webpage so that you can get started in a snap.
What I also love is their great statistics – instead of having to go on a research mission on all the different places the podcast appears and gather the data, Blubrry gives me an awesome dashboard with statistics broken down into source, country, and much more. Every hosting subscription automatically receives professional statistics, but if you’re already hosting somewhere else, you can still sign up for their stats system separately.
If you want to focus on being a boss and creating great content, use my link below for a free month of hosting or stats (and a contract you can cancel anytime, so your commitment phobia won’t be triggered!).
